Unlike our candidates who already hold public office, this was one I knew next to nothing about so I was glad that Colbert had him on - and gave him time, too.

UBI is a fascinating idea, to be sure. Sadly, $1000 isn't quite enough, I think, for a family in this economy. Instead, how about $1000 per capita. That would still only cost about $320 Billion to make happen.

Unfortunately, Andrew Yang is going to finish out of the running, entirely. We're not ready for him yet.
