He endorsed Beto this week and came to one of his campaign events to open the event. I always knew and liked the song, but didn't know the singer or his band, The Youngbloods. The chorus especially is a perfect fit for Beto and a good counter to Trump!

However it is the version and the sound that so many of us remember. I love the Youngbloods, saw them live a couple of times, they put on a wonderful show and Jesse's voice is pure gold. Their song "Darkness Darkness" still haunts me.
