So you say you want a flawless candidate and flawless MSNBC talking heads...

It is as if we have this ten carat diamond and it is rated as

IF

which means

Flawless category (IF) diamonds have no inclusions visible under 10x magnification, only small blemishes on the diamond surface.

Only one category better, Flawless. We focus on the surface flaws in all of our candidates while a NAZI FASCIST MURDERING RAPIST is running the show and is OWNED by another one.

The flawless people I refer to or near so are Rachel and Lawrence on TV and most of our candidates, in fact all Democrats who are currently running. Certainly near flawless if comparing to ANY fucking republican.
If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

That's because they are people. Some of them have had long careers in politics, meaning that at some point they did something or said something or voted for or against something that some of us won't like. Some are old; maybe some people will think they are too old. Some are young, maybe too young for some of us, or relatively inexperienced. Some are more articulate than others. Some have detailed ideas; some have broad aspirations. Some haven't got a snowball's chance in Hell of getting the nomination but want attention, either for their issues or for themselves.

So if a flawed candidate, which is all of them, can beat Trump, can you live with his/her flaws, or will you reject him/her as being insufficiently pure or not adequately representing what you, personally, feel good about?

I'm going with whoever can beat Trump's sorry orange ass, which means I'll take the candidate who can best do that, warts and all. Fuck purity and fuck my feelings.

someone with minor surface flaws compared to not only rump but at this point any living republican.

My only feelings are the ones that dont want to live anymore if rump is reelected, I would even accept the ONE non Democrat running over rump but I wouldnt be thrilled about it.

when Bill Clinton accused him of saying he was perfect he said no just honest. I simply wish our reporters to be honest. I don't want them to tell fantastic tales of having been hacked as she did.

Who looks good on camera, works well with reporters and producers, gives lots of access, and has a game plan, for squelching negative stories. I think most of the candidates don't realize how important and so they pay very little attention to it.

Trump knows how important it is. People think he's wasting time watching TV, but he thinks that's his job. He watches how things play on TV then spins everything, badgers or rewards reporters or changes the subject. He's got a very well-honed media strategy and we continually underestimate him because we think he's an idiot.

You can have a truely flawless diamond, but it's worthless if nobody can see it.

We must all study well all candidates, get rid of our fanatism and choose the one that, after studying the facts, we know will defeat the republicans.

I would rather see the buffoon impeached.

Democrats are not the bad guys and it's disheartening how many Democrats blame Democrats for republicans, as if they actually have power. the power is in the republicans' hands and they are not afraid to abuse it. they ignore the law and are corrupt in plain sight. this is in spite of the Democrats efforts to stem the tide and hold them accountable.

the media continues to act as if it's just another day in a normal presidency and shares trump's tweets instead of reporting the real news, like torturing people at the border. the scenario that these immigrants are "illegal aliens" instead of refugees seeking asylum which many if not most at this time are.

i am frustrated that impeachment has not begun yet, but this DU post i think makes a great case that Pelosi is necessarily making the most airtight case that she can in order to battle the inevitable propaganda that it's only happening to score political points.
