Mayor Pete's appearance on the Fox News Town Hall event was Brilliant.

He’s showing the other candidates how to do it. How to take the fight to the propagandists and reach their audience more effectively than Fox or Drumpf could do it.

This will be looked upon as an act of leadership and will bode well for his primary campaign.

This reminds me of how Bill Clinton showed he was human during the debates of the 1992 election and how the other candidates were unable to convey basic empathy.

But it's just one off events. The whole rest of the year they bash Democrats mercilessly.

They also know Pete won't be the nominee. So they go easy and have a friendly studio audience. Ill bet it wouldn't be like that for Biden.

And if Pete actually was ever the nominee you'd see the difference. It wouldn't be like this, they'd attack him 24/7.

He handled those types of questions well. He is always articulate, knowledgeable and has a great track record of experience.

And any Democratic candidate is going to be attacked by the people like Carlson and Ingraham. That is par for the course. At least Mayor Pete is getting his message out there first before they can spread the propaganda.

You've given up on them already? Including independents, and the No-Trump crowd? You object to stepping out of the church and speaking to those not in the choir because they're all hopelessly redemptionless sinners?

What Tulsa, Bernie, and now Mayor Pete is doing is very important, and courageous, and extremely helpful for not just them, but the party. For a number of reasons. In this highly partisan environment, where its proven that everyone now goes to news information that they know will reinforce what they already believe. DU is a case in point. There is a good side to that of course. I greatly appreciate having a place to go to catch up on the news with stories posted that I know I will be interested in and probably will help give me hope for Democrats chances in the future.

Any chance to break through those ever closing ranks...shields up!....is not only necessary but important. It shows we are not afraid to enter the lions den, which also counters some of the criticism they have that we are afraid to have debates hosted by Fox.

Trumpers and Fox addicts. Some will just have their TV always tuned to Fox, and will be exposed to...gasp....a Democrat and what they can do for them. And many Fox viewers will keep it on because they trust Fox News that they wouldn't put something on that wasn't legit. Also many undecided, independents might watch, and have at least a few more moments hearing the Democrats side of things that they never would otherwise.

Its ridiculous to not be able to separate a snit you may have with Fox News about their obvious shilling for Trump, and the opportunity to reach an audience they rarely have access to. If they even got 1% of loyal Fox viewers to change their minds on some issues, it would be worth it.

What about non-regular Fox viewers?

What about all those Republicans that he's lost approval with during the last two years?

What about just anyone, even apolitical, who happens to be flicking channels, or in a restaurant with Fox News on?

And what about the cred for going on Fox News in the first place which somewhat dampens Fox News hosts claims about them being afraid to?

And I can't let your one slipup go where you admitted that it wasn't "none" of regular Fox viewers that would vote Democrat next time but "almost none". Which supports my conclusion that if even 1% changes their minds, even just to stay home, or vote Libertarian, its a success.
