Pete Buttigieg has now released official positions on 27 topics. Here's what we know.

Democratic presidential hopeful Pete Buttigieg is seemingly everywhere these days — the pages of your local newspaper, on the radio, on TV, even on late night talk shows.

He has a lot to say about his run for president, but he has taken some criticism for providing few details along the way.

Thursday evening, his campaign changed that by adding positions on 27 topics. Prior to that, he didn't have an issues page on his campaign website, a complaint of some voters who were trying to find out more about him.

Instead, he had linked to a separate website, with videos posted of various interviews and town halls in which he's spoken to some extent about key issues. IndyStar examined those earlier this month.

of a humorous anecdote. A man was walking along the street when he saw a friend of his who owned a horse and cart holding a book up in front of his horse's face. He asked his friend what he was doing
and the reply was that he was trying to improve his horse's life by introducing it to philosophical ideas. Ah, the man said, it does no good to put Descartes before the horse!

But it made my day, that is so funny! and timely.
I like but-a-leg-eg better all the time. I would have liked
to have served with him for conversations (listen and be silent).
My squad was full of philosophers (we thought we were).
But that was a hundred years ago (I am retired).

in the book "The Joys Of Yiddish" by Leo Rosten (published in 1968) which is part dictionary and part humor/jokes. If you haven't noticed, the pun is a mainstay of Jewish humor.

I did not know that, I will investigate (out of curiosity).
Yiddish, what is Yiddish? That caught me off guard.
I have seen that word before and now I feel illiterate.

thanks

So many of the people running on our side are exceptional; it's really nice to see this spirit of unity among people of good will. It makes me feel as though once these four years are over, we really have a chance to not just restore our country but make it better and kinder than before.
