the Trolls are also going after Beto along with some other Democrats who are running this time around .
<Democratic presidential hopeful Beto O'Rourke pointed to Russian hacking of Florida voter registration information as support for his suspicions about the 2016 presidential election.
When asked in an MSNBC interview Saturday if he was confident President Trump had been elected fairly, the former Texas congressman agreed the use of propaganda on voters and electoral system breaches gave him doubts.
"I dont have complete confidence in part because of what you've just shared about Florida, in part because we know from other secretaries of state in other states in the union that their systems were breached. We dont know if vote tallies were changed, but that alone should be cause for concern," O'Rourke said.
"When you add to that one of the first phone calls this president made after the Mueller report was released was to Vladimir Putin to whom he described the Mueller report as a hoax, that is a green light, an open invitation, for Russia to continue to involve themselves in our elections. So Im concerned about what happened in 2016," he said, referring to special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian election interference.>

(42,770 posts)It's all probably true. It does scare me how ugly this is going to get.
We know what the crazies who blindly follow the nutcase criminal are capable of doing.
Wow...being scared of our own US election is very heavy. Hate what this creep stole from.us.

(7,142 posts)I vote in Pa. into a black hole, I get no paper receipt, not that it would matter.
When people say that there is no evidence that votes have been flipped, they are telling the truth. No machines ever get pulled out and independently audited, the manufacturers claim proprietary rights.
What a joke, proprietary rights for 1+1 =2.
All of the Democratically controlled state Houses need to go to paper ballots, and quickly.
Note; we in Pa. are supposed to get new machines that leave a paper trail but our Republican controlled state House is trying to delay the new machines until after the 2020 election.
One doesn't have to be Einstein to see what picture that paints.

(42,770 posts)Preface the subject of election interference with .."no, not saying result would have changed!". The press repeated this as well.
But everyone should have been saying "we don't know, but it's logical that it did."
So they probably wouldn't hack a paper system right? Read once that the place they hack is the laptop that accumulates the vote tallies to submit to central location. If you have backup paper will they count those too and make sure they match?

(7,142 posts)it's a lot harder to cheat with paper ballots. Do nothing over the internet. Submit the vote totals to a central location via carrier pigeon if you have to.
