Joe Biden hit a home run.

I watched the entire speech while I was on the treadmill. I felt as if I was divinely inspired to run faster, harder, and longer. He's pretty good at this politics thing.

primary today, I would vote for:

He’s very much like Obama in the way you feel welcomed and visible to them even tho you are just a face in the crowd.

How their faces express shear pleasure at times. And how they love their families and other people’s families.

It does feel safe and honest when in their presence.

We. WE can do this. I'm tired of the hate. It's eating us alive. We can be strong and fight for what's right without hate. Without the fear and division that that monster in OUR White House creates for nothing but his own gain.

Americans can fight for what it right and just without hatred... as has been said:

I do not pretend to understand the moral universe; the arc is a long one, my eye reaches but little ways; I cannot calculate the curve and complete the figure by the experience of sight; I can divine it by conscience. And from what I see I am sure it bends towards justice.

haters back under their rocks and the urgency of preserving our singular democracy.
His reference to the civil war and Lincoln’s words was absolutely on target.

The man is clearly stuck in the Tip&Ronnie past. He says he's able to work with repukes to pass legislation, but he cites Obamacare that got NO repuke votes, and the watered-down Recovery Act that only got three repuke votes.

It was thanks to that weak stimulus, which was watered down to lure the non-existant repuke votes, that the economy was not able to recover fast enough, which partially contributed to Democrats losing their legislative majorities in 2010 and 2014.

Then he says "let's stop fighting and let's start fixing." I got news for you, if you don't fight the other side and gain insurmountable power, there's no fixing anything.

Hopefully his thinking evolves in his campaign, but what I can see now is a half-measure against trumpism. I am sick and tired of seeing half-measures.

Obviously "repukes" votes were needed, otherwise the democrats would have passed the ideal bill that they wanted, with just their own votes.

He is not our only power hitter, We have pretty potent lineup.

Again if he is the nominee i’ll Be all in. Lots to like there but his age concerns me, as well as his support for that crime bill. And as a woman I think it is past time for a female president.....of course minus the Electoral College and Russian hanky panky HRC would be in charge, not that Orange Creep.

Whatever we have to win in 2020.
