Hundreds turn out for Bernie Sanders event in Fayetteville, Arkansas

"3,000 parties happened all across the country Wednesday night with the same purpose, campaigning for Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders. In a live streamed speech, Sanders estimated that roughly 100,000 people came out to the parties, including to one in Fayetteville.

"Very grassroots, very organic, community based neighborhood activities like this activity here, it's a packed house tonight," Tyler Clark, Chairm of the Washington County Democrats said.

Hundreds turned out to Cannibal and Craft in Fayetteville on Wednesday night.

"To support a viable, non-status quo candidate," Steve Penn a Sanders supporter said."

Good idea, and one we have not been doing although in Los Angeles we have some good Progressives that I know personally in local offices. Some of the wonderful people who serve as members of our City Council are Progressive. We are really grateful to them and support them strongly. Good people. Just great.

But that might be because the state's Democratic Party apparatchiks tend to have close ties to the Clintons.

It was scheduled for the same day as Netroots Nation.

NN set its date a full year in advance.

Worked out well for her.

Anyway, great event!
