(26,371 posts)and I would never have imagined that we would see people calling education and medical care "free stuff" and cheering on wars.
It's very sad. I remember how supportive and educational this place used to be. Now, it's Free Republic for Hillary.

(9,905 posts)I'm going more an more over to jackpine these day. If DU kicks out the progressives soon I don't think I will still be here at all. I'm racking up the hides fast now. I really won't miss the place as it is now.

(31,504 posts)ARLINGTON NATIONAL CEMETERY, Va. President Barack Obama marked his final Memorial Day as president by paying tribute to fallen U.S. soldiers at Arlington National Cemetery on Monday.
He laid a wreath at the cemeterys Tomb of the Unknown Solider and delivered remarks at a ceremony honoring those whove made the ultimate sacrifice in combat.
At Section 60 of the cemetery, families and friends of fallen soldiers began gathering early Monday morning to pay tribute to their loved ones.
Their presence serves as a reminder that the U.S. military is still engaged in dangerous efforts across the Middle East.

Section 60, in the southeast part of the cemetery, is the burial ground for military personnel killed in the Global War on Terror since 2001.[64]
