I have been a fan of Dick Van Dyke forever and ever, this just thrills me.

(27,247 posts)I'd actually wanted a Lost In Space lunch box (anything with a space theme was "OK" for boys), or even Wild, Wild West, so I don't know how I ended up with Mary Poppins. Maybe it was on sale or something. Anyway, I ended up not having any lunch on that day.

(6,440 posts)Though it was on re-release, as I hadn't been born in 1964. I was a little too young to sit through such a long film, I think I was around 4 or 5, so this must have been around 1972. Maybe '71, as I think Disney was re-releasing films at 7-year intervals at the time.

(1,301 posts)Since we were little, my sisters and I always thought he looked like our dad. My dad would have been 91 this year. He also would have been a Sanders supporter.
