Bernie Sanders

The Vermont Senator is poised to arrive at the Democratic convention as the stronger candidate to take on Trump.
Senator Bernie Sanders would defeat Donald Trump relatively easily in a general election, according to the latest polls. An average of the three most recent major polls predicts a victory of more than 14 points, which would be a landslide in modern presidential politics.
CNN/ORC, May 1: Sanders obliterates Trump by 16 points
IBD/TIPP, April 28: Sanders defeats Trump by 12 points
USA Today/Suffolk, April 24: Sanders defeats Trump by 15 points
As the country adjusts to the notion that a xenophobic, racist billionaire will be the Republican candidate for the presidency in November, no doubt many hope the strongest candidate emerges from the Democratic Party to defeat him.

(13,877 posts)but countries in Europe, as well. It really is taking on a "100th Monkey" scenario.
Their politics is rigged as is ours. They don't get to print the universal money, so have to pay their bills...to the IMF et all. Yet I hear the US lecturing them to "live within their means". Right, like we do. Check the national Debt...we are insolvent as hell, but are printing money like it had actual value.
And we know who is going to run up our tab, at least the quickest and with less thought...and it's not for health care or a safety net for the Peasants/aka declining Middle Class.
I see the Clinton Bubble as a microcosm of our National Bubble. No one wants to see that the Economic Emperor Has No Clothes. That's why I believe Bernie was not covered much at all. Those covering him stood to lose their power. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to get that.

(2,125 posts)Everybody is blaming Bernie supporters for Hillary's upcoming loss if she is the Dem nominee.
They know she can't win the GE but they still support her. And they tell us that we're the
unreasonable and selfish ones.
Everyone climb on the Bernie express. We're going to Washington D.C.!!!

That is their only prayer best I can tell.
