They will see Warren as someone who was willing to give up a key position in the Senate to go into a powerless position. I actually don't think Warren should be the VP, she is a key voice in the progressive movement and she's far more important to the senate than most senators today.

credibility and is much more useful in the Senate.Lawerence is forgetting just a few days ago Liz Warren was still cheering for Bernie.
Besides that Hillary will choose he VP in accordance with whomever
Lloyd Blankfein decides would be the best choice for her...Remember from here on out he will be calling the shots and protecting his investment.

forces to stave off Trumpenstein no matter how bizarre or unsound. The New York primary loss by Bernie was another recent opportunity for Trump fearists on the left to panic and cry out for Clinton to move ahead sans Bernie, who might 'harm the party'.
To think that Warren would work against Trump in this way as VP for Clinton is most strange. And where does it put Bernie who's fought so hard in this campaign and motivated millions? On Lawrence's show it was carefully said how Warren would bring the progressive elements--without the more difficult aspects, essentially. A 'good progressive' in other words.

I can see where it might be attractive for Clinton, the congress would never remove her from office if it led to President Warren.

He pulled Dems out of places where they were doing good in the local, state, or legislative branch often getting those offices filled by a republican. Although it most likely wouldn't happen with Warren, it might(I'm sure brownie would like another Senate term).

It's one part of Obama's legacy I hope no Democratic President repeats.

$hit on her on a number of her stances. Like her opposition to TPP, etc. Accepting the VP position would only mute her. I doubt there would be much in that administration agenda that she would agree with.

who then convinced Bill to do something or other relating to individual bankruptcies, or something. Sorry I can't remember the details.

In fact, if it concerned bankruptcy, the reality is that the law was changed to vastly disadvantage individuals seeking bankruptcy and favor their (underwritingly feckless) creditors . . . so it must have been something else?

Anyway, supposedly Liz had a helpful influence via Hillary.

That said, I agree that Liz can probably do more in the Senate than she'd have the opportunity to do as Hillary's VP. Hillary is too sympathetic/beholden to bankers and their ilk; and too clueless re- why that's not preferable.

As Bernie's VP, on the other hand, well, Bernie would be smart enough to DEPLOY THE LIZ (as in, RELEASE THE KRAKEN!)

Omigawd, how wonderful that would be.
