Last night and all those pieces of shit showed their racist asses.

Fayetteville was trending on Facebook this morning and not in a good way. Good going by some very brave protesters, one of whom was assaulted by a Trump supporter and was manhandled by the Sheriff's Dept.

GO NC! #feelthebern

Fayetteville has a lot of good people, and has a really nice downtown cultural revival. They have a great international festival every year.

The worst element in Fay showed up for tRump, sounds like. Not surprising

OMG it's in the Washington Post:

Trump minions were snatching and grabbing people's signs and ripping them up and showering them with all sorts of nastiness. I can only imagine. Pretty sure Bernie nor his supporters would behave in such a way.

Disgusting. Pretty disgusted with my Indy f(R)iend too for going but she does her and I do me. We squabble all the time about R vs D issues.

And here: https://www.facebook.com/staci.graybill/posts/1230972006917064

When candidate Obama had a rally there, many people's tires were slashed. I mean there are some real nasty bottomfeeders here too, especially in the more rural areas.

But yes, there are many wonderful people here who do not subscribe to this disgustingly violent behavior.

Those Sheriffs had to see what happened as they used the results of the assault to rough up and cuff that protester.

I dunno Marions ghost, seeing stuff like this over and over can really bankrupt optimism.

--this video shows pretty well how the cops responded. They'll use the (reasonable) defense that they were trying to prevent retaliation by the protesters, causing a big melee. But then they did nothing to subdue the assaulter and were so excessive with manhandling the protester after he had been hit. OK they feared an eruption of violence, but they did not handle this right. Many people seeing this WILL be appalled. I don't think the sheriffs will just get away with it.

I know, it's awful to see but I feel GOOD that so many people protested the lies of that evil Trump thing. I am feeling good. Don't worry, he's going down.

So let the Trump party be the party of neanderthal racists and the KKK. They can have each other. They can all slip and slide around in their own nastiness to the ends of their rotten days.

The rest of the country is going to move on. Already is...

Nuclear Sclerosis Is a Normal Change in Aging Eyes

Nuclear sclerosis is considered a normal change to the lenses of the eyes. It usually develops in both eyes simultaneously and is often seen in animals over the age of six. The condition isn’t painful. It comes on gradually, and pets are able to adapt very well to the minor changes in vision that occur.

In younger animals, the lens of the eye is clear because it is composed of tissue fibers that are perfectly organized. But as a pet grows older, more and more fibers are deposited to the outer rings of the lens. Since the lens resides inside a capsule and can’t expand to accommodate the additional fibers, the new fibers push the older fibers close together and toward the center of the lens. This compression causes the lens to harden and cloud over.

Nuclear Sclerosis or Cataracts?

The only clinical symptom of nuclear sclerosis is a cloudy appearance of the lens of the eye. Occasionally, a pet will develop mild problems judging distance and range.

Most veterinarians can quickly tell the difference between nuclear sclerosis and a more serious problem, like cataracts, with an ophthalmologic exam. The corneas are typically checked first, often using a device called a slit lamp. If there’s cloudiness on or just behind the cornea, the problem is not nuclear sclerosis.

When your vet (or a veterinary ophthalmologist) looks deeper into the eye with an ophthalmoscope, which may require the use of medicated drops in your pet’s eyes, he or she will be able to see all the way through to the retina if nuclear sclerosis is present. If the problem is a cataract, it will partially or completely block the view of the retina. If your vet can’t see through the lens, neither can your pet.

Unlike cataracts, nuclear sclerosis doesn’t seriously affect vision and no treatment is necessary. And if your pet has nuclear sclerosis, it doesn’t mean she will automatically also develop cataracts. However, if you notice your pet’s eyes taking on a different color, it’s very important that your vet make sure it’s nuclear sclerosis and not another more serious eye condition.

Thanks for posting that. I had always assumed the cloudy eyes in pets was caused by cataracts (I actually had juvenile cataracts in both eyes and had my first lens removed at the age of 19, prior to routine lens implantation for younger patients.)

Good to know if doesn't hurt them or seriously affect their vision.
