Bernie can win the nomination with 41% of the pledged delegates

There are 4051 pledged delegates and 713 super-delegates: total = 4764.

(4764/2) + 1 = 2383 to win the nomination.

Suppose Bernie wins 1670 (approximately 41%) of the 4051 pledged delegates.
That means that Clinton will win 2381 pledged delegates; not enough to clinch the nomination.

That leaves Bernie (and us) 7 weeks before the convention to convince the super delegates that HRC can't win the GE. I think this may be Bernie's best chance.

The important thing to remember is: Even if Bernie "loses" every primary, he can still win enough delegates to put up a fight at the convention. So don't give up.

I doubt he would push a floor fight, but prolonging the primary is in the party's best interest given the possibility of Clinton's email woes coming to fruition.

If Hillary pulls that shit, I can't vote for her. Period. Same goes for Bernie. I'm shocked this is even being floated here.

If the voters choose Hillary, they've spoken. I'm not down with ignoring the will of the peeps. But yeah, I do want him to stay in. He's got my vote, and I've gotten a bunch of others and am working on more.

But I can't get behind that. If she wins the most delegates, the people have spoken. I don't feel you ignore that for any reason. Like I said earlier, if Bernie were to win the most delegates and Hillary got the nom due to the supers, would you vote for her? I wouldn't. Why? Because the Democratic party would be ignoring the people. My candidate doing the same ain't cool with me. I have a very strong aversion to hypocrisy.

We need Bernie to stay in. It's not that he's a sore loser, it's for us if he were to stay in.

nothing will change that. Hillary's already got 95% (estimate) of these pledged delegates
in her hip pocket. Why not level the playing field by getting a bunch of SUPERS for Bernie?

I see no reason to say "fuck that" to an all-out effort to win the super-delegates over (or just
enough of them) to get Bernie as our nominee..

I don't understand your aversion to this ... help me out.

ON EDIT: I meant SUPER-delegates in my post, not 'pledged' delegates.
