Hillary's Queen Cersei moment

by John Kass

If Hillary Clinton fails to fulfill her destiny and retake the White House, she'll have to go on that lonely political walk of shame.

And then historians may point their bony fingers at young Taylor Gipple.

For it was Mr. Gipple, Iowa millennial and passionate supporter of Sen. Bernie Sanders, who gave us the single most important nationally televised moment of Clinton's presidential campaign so far.

Think of it as Hillary's Queen Cersei moment.

If you don't follow HBO's series "Game of Thrones," and the ruthless matron of a fading dynasty, then you're probably too old or calcified to care about cool stuff such as politics.

But Gipple isn't too old, and neither are millions of other millennials, those on the left following Sanders, the Vermont socialist, or those millennials on the right following the anti-establishment candidates.

Poor Hillary, been fighting for so long, and has so little to $$$how for it.

That's not fighting, Hillary. That's selling out.

did you have to click on "not now"? After about six attempts, I Googled Queen (Cercsei?) and found the story there without the firewall. Trying to get it on Google works (sometimes).

I can't believe she talked to this young guy that way. That exchange was cringeworthy. Really. The condescension and disrespect. Way to win someone over, Your Majesty. NOT. You'd think she would have figured this out while she's been busy amassing all her "experience."

That's another thing about Bernie Sanders that the millenials appreciate. He shows respect to EVERYONE.

Hillary the Great takes way too much for granted. That's what turned me off her in 2008. I remember her campaign commercial: she's reclined regally on a sofa with this "of course you'll want to vote for MOI" attitude. Well, no.

Maybe try googling the title and see if going that route works.

It is exactly what fits her personality when challenged like this. He hit her hard, she was probably stunned so she pulled her inner geezer out. Now I feel I can say that since my inner geezer yearns to be free from time to time but since I am mostly not unlikable and people DO trust me I can cage her in. Whippersnappers!

Yes, I too have had a few snickers over this.

geezer too that I try to keep to myself. Ageism goes both ways, as HRH HRC has expertly demonstrated.
