Even though they are some of my favorite stories and I was super excited when they first announced (over a decade ago) that movies/a tv series would be made, after having recently made my fifth full trip to the Tower have come to the conclusion that it just can’t be done. Not properly. There is too much material that cannot be omitted. Plus, I have no idea how they could handle the Detta part of Susannah’s personality without people freaking out.

The only book can see working well as a tv series is Wizard and Glass. It could be spectacular if done correctly. The rest of the DT story is too long and too complicated.

I have not seen the one movie that was made, even though I adore Idris Elba and think Matthew McConaughey would be a great Flagg. The story is so horribly mangled I’ve refused to watch it.
