I saw "Godzilla, Minus One" tonight.

I'm a huge Godzilla fan and have seen all of them, I think. It was fun and a quintessential Japanese monster movie. If you go, be warned that it's long. There are English subtitles. I would have liked to see a little more of the monster, but that's okay. As an aviation buff, I was fascinated by the interceptor they used at the end of the movie and wondered if it was real, so when we got home I researched it and it was, indeed, a real plane, but it was never actually used in WW II because they didn't have the all the mechanical bugs worked out before the US dropped the bomb.

Anyway, for anyone interested here's a little bit more information about the movie and interceptor:

Although, it's a little difficult to compare the ones from the 50s and 60s to the ones today. The old Japanese monster movies certainly have their charm.

I've watched most of the old Godzilla movies (in the 60s and 70s) and the most recent ones. Watched one this morning on TCM.

Thanks, I'll check this one out!

I was dying by the time it was over. And do not do what someone in my party did and get up to pee ten minutes before the end. You'll miss a lot!
