Greetings from Amsterdam

My name's Dan, and I live here with my wife Danielle. (Yes I know, that's profoundly weird.) We're both U.S, citizens: I'm from New Hampshire, she's from Nebraska. (Yep, more alliterative weirdness.) We're both working here, and hope to come home sometime in 2015. (Of course, if Romney's elected, that a whole other thing. But I'm expecting Obama to get between 310-330 EVs in November.)

I was married to someone from Belgium for 15 years. together for 17.

My Dutch gets rustier and rustier - but both of my kids took Dutch language classes, so occasionally I get to try to get past my Brusselaire accent...without a lot of success.
