Edit read through an signed in to monthly also. I misunderstood the email as usual., I enjoy DU. I should of did my first membership on a monthly payment instead of the yearly. I will monthy from now on. thank you eveyone.

I decided that I want DU around when the going gets hectic. I kicked in a little bit extra seeing as this is one of the few sources for the truth.

b) twice a year fund raising (while remaining unobtrusive) = good
c) but sustaining membership and amounts (both monthly and annual) = better, and the real key to health

EarlG is asking those of us who can afford it to consider donating again or signing up for a monthly contribution.

Paypal won't take my money no matter what hoops I jump through. I'll just send the damned credit/debit card by mail. Not happy about internet transactions and how they work.

Finally took my cc after I got away it witho giving any more info. Last time i used them was like 8 years ago. I’ve move a few times and use a different phone numbers.
Still feel uneasy about it.
I’d be more than happy to send more $, if could do it with a money order. Still have hearts so that doesn’t matter. Just need an address and payee name.

If anyone can help me, please answer here or pm me.
Thanks.

For payment is the snail mail info at the place you go to when you click on the link to buy hearts.

I’m fine with then cashing it and put it toward what ever they personal expense.
It’s a gift to show how important this site is to me.

I just wanted to buy hearts and it turned into an ordeal. So I'll just forego the hearts this year and send my contribution by mail. I'm less inclined to make online purchases then I ever was before I started making online purchases. I pay for everything else with paper and checks/MOs.

personal checks. Use a gel pen when I do, but I get a few free cashier check from my bank and use those or money orders. I always mail them inside the post office. Not much left to get hacked on, I hope.

I don't like Paypal. I just keep looking for the credit thing or "Pay as a guest" I've been able to pay by credit card each year.

doing so. The email explained that the environment has changed dramatically and DU is facing the possibility of not being able to support EarlG full time as it has in the past. Bottom line, if you can do more and are so inclined then do so 🙂.
