Just a question: how come the post counter seems to get stuck?j

I'm very close to a posting milestone so have been watching my post counts. It stayed the same this morning on 5 different posts.

The counter on posts does not show your count as it was when that post was made -- it always shows your current post count. So no matter which of your posts you go to, you'll see the number of posts you currently have.
