DU main page disappeared yesterday and never came back.

Now I can't find the disappeared DU thread I've seen before. What's wrong with my computer? Help!

1. It's not you -- this problem is with DU

Earlier in the week it appears that our ad provider changed some code at their end which caused the page to break. I deployed a fix which worked in the short term, but then their code apparently overrode my code and the issue came back. I've made them aware that this is going on and we are working on a fix right now -- hopefully this will be dealt with shortly.

Honestly though it doesn't really help when these third-party problems come up *while* we're trying to get DU4 finished. This problem is completely unrelated to DU4, but it gives the impression that the new site is "breaking things" even though that's not what's going on here.

... understands what you are doing is going relatively well ... and it is full of things to tweak and retweak.

Those who know, know. Those who don't whine about the process. I hated coming into work at 4:00am and have the GM walk in at 8:00am with a starbucks, look into my office, raise his hands and ask, "When, Michelangelo, when?"

We put a comprehensive manufacturing-inventory-accounting system into effect at a plant my family owned. I was for some reason put in charge. 12 hour days 7 days a week. I had a heart attack at 38 just as we we were finishing up.

I do not envy you and Elad a bit!
