democraticunderground.ORG versus democraticunderground.COM?

I followed a link to democraticunderground.ORG from google...

But when trying to login to reply to that msg, nothing works.

democraticunderground.ORG wouldn't let me login. It said I had to enable cookies (I have) but it wasn't setting any cookies.

HOWEVER, I could login to democraticunderground.COM

Please tell me it's the same and that .ORG isn't some scam...

PS: what's the point of having both if only one actually works?

Sounds like a phishing site. Fake sites that look like the real site designed to steal your log in credentials. Often people use the same password for all kinds of things, and once they get that password, there are many other avenues to steal your internet presence, banking info, etc.

Best tip anyone could have given me, thanks.

Thank goodness I use unique passwords for every site...

Just make up random login and password info at random and never go back?

Maybe someone does have the random character string AOL email address, and maybe the random string of numbers, letters, and special characters really is their password, but statistically not likely in the observable universe. Sure, it would gum up the pfishing database with junk that they would have to try with hundreds of logins to conclude it was junk that wasted their time, but I feel strangely guiltless about that possibility

It is supposed to redirect you automatically to democraticunderground.com, so I will take a look and see if I can fix that.
