Would someone instruct on how to embed tweets from an iPad?

I've poked around for instructions -- they don't seem to match the iPad screen options.

1. Go to the upper right corner of the tweet and hold your finger down there

for a few seconds. A list of options should pop up.

3. Dang ...all I get is a COPY option when I press and hold and a live link appears in the post

Rather than the embedded graphic version of the tweet...

4. There's a little down arrow that pops up to the right

And you need to tap on the "Copy link to Tweet" option. It should then say "copied to clipboard" and you can paste it anywhere. At least that's what worked for me when I posted via my phone - and I'm not at all good at this stuff, either.

Scoured the net for tips and everything described just doesn't show - and I'm clicking everywhere on everything!

One thing I always do is preview the post to make sure it worked. As I said, I'm a slow learner on these things. Good luck!

10. Figured it out!

I did, in fact, start with the instructions from the admins.

But I've since learned that on an iPad, embedding only seems to work when viewing the tweet from the Twitter app. Only then does the small arrow appear in upper right corner. I can then click on "Share via" and finally I get the choice to copy link.

It doesn't work like that if viewing the tweet from the safari browser.

But I got it!

I managed one yesterday, must have previewed it eight times since I wasn't convinced it would really appear when I posted it!
