Anyone else getting the feeling that Rmoney is being viewed across the board as a mere placeholder. Esp. Repubs, waiting for their young "deep bench" to grow up!

I think better candidates chose not to run this time, preferring to run against a non-incumbent.
God willing, Romney will achieve his goal of getting in the history books--alongside McCain, Dole, Goldwater and Dewey.
