Romney did not have actually serious competition for the nomination.
I am not sure how the election will turn out as I live in Texas.

BTW, I just heard on MSNBC that Sarah Palin ran a faster marathon time than Ryan did. ROFLMAO.

I think better candidates chose not to run this time, preferring to run against a non-incumbent.
God willing, Romney will achieve his goal of getting in the history books--alongside McCain, Dole, Goldwater and Dewey.
