I'm so angry. One Republican after another stood up to justify voting against this judge, not because of his qualifications, but because they were miffed about something some Dem had done to them in the past... grudges that went back for years.

This was petty childishness -- and if they were my kids, they wouldn't try to pull that stunt twice! -- grown men acting like nasty brats in their team goal of spiteful, tit-for-tat retaliation. I was just dumbfounded that these small minded jackasses thought their arguments were so profound that they were will to stand in front of a camera and admit that they had nothing, but they were going to block him anyway just to deny the president another judge.

Why are they even there? Seriously, the student government from any local high school in the country has a greater sense of civic duty than those Republican buffoons in Congress... and they'd likely get more accomplished, too!
