Poll: Obama making headway with effort to plant doubts about Romney

"SNIP...................................

The survey by the independent Pew Research Center found that more than one in three registered voters would like to learn more about Romney’s record as a buyout executive at Bain Capital, his service as Massachusetts governor and his income tax returns. All have been the object of continuing attacks by Obama, propelled by millions of dollars worth of campaign ads in battleground states.

According to the opinion survey, completed Tuesday, most voters say they already know what they need to know about both presidential candidates. But unsurprisingly, more voters say they need to know more about Romney, who has received far less national exposure than Obama.

Predict a winner: Battleground states

Although the numbers of those wanting to learn more are relatively modest—Pew’s analysis points out that two-thirds of voters already feel they have what they need to know about both candidates—the numbers of those with doubts still appear to be significant in an election in which perhaps fewer than 10% of likely voters have yet to make up their minds.

Among independent voters, the group considered most crucial to the outcome in November, 37% said they would like to learn more about Romney’s activities at Bain Capital, the private equity firm he co-founded. Obama has gone after Romney for facilitating the shift of U.S. jobs overseas, a particularly sensitive subject with voters in battleground states such as Ohio, which suffered an exodus of manufacturing employment over the years.

So.. people are saying that they have enough info on him, even though he has released NOTHING.

Think about it.. no tax returns, no Olympic specifics, no Bain specifics, everything from his Governorship has been wiped out, and he won't release the names of his fattest donors.

And 65% of the republicans say that they have all they need to decide. Or is it "he's white and rich," that's all I need to know?

This can mean more than one thing. I could mean I know all I need to know to not vote for Romney, since he appears to be extremely dishonest and secretive. Or it could mean, he is a Republican so that is all I need to know. Some people have decided who they were going to vote for months ago. I have known all I need to know about Romney for about 4 years. I hate his smirking face, his animal abusing ways, his vulture capitalism, his stupid magic underwear, his flip-flopping personality, his arrogance in assuming he has a right to a car elevator, his life of privilege that just isn't enough he has to be a wannabee barber as well, his stupid hair. If Romney hadn't been born into wealth he would be a lemon dealing used car salesman.

I am flabbergasted though that they haven't taken one look at Mittens and decided they should hide behind Obama. Even if Obama did nothing else than protect us from the likes of Mittens, I would vote for him. Luckily though he actually takes his job seriously and does it well. So, I will be voting for Obama and against Mittens, two birds one stone and all that jazz.
