Were the 34,000 names ever released of the US tax evaders who took advantage of

the 2009 "amnesty" program for unreported overseas accounts?

Is there any reason the names wouldn't be subject to the Freedom of Information Act?
Shouldn't somebody be checking for Romney's name on the list?

I don't think they have to comply with FoIA requests? Given that this was amnesty and therefore not criminal.

Even so, would have to look at the UBS deal back then, but I think part of it was that if people came clean, their names would be left out of it, otherwise UBS would be required to turn them over. My memory on that is fuzzy.
