(28,498 posts)With all these 100s millions flowing into PACS and the like--all "secret" now because corporations are "people" and who-knows-what coming in from foreign sources--it might be a good time for the "insiders" to look into skimming a little "off the top."
Who's going to know?
I mean, if I was in top management of a PAC overseeing half a billion in secret contributions, what's to stop me from putting a few hundred thousand in my pocket when I leave for the day?
Maybe that's where the "supposed superpac onslaught against the President" is going...

(13,669 posts)are really begining to be airing them a LOT- I noticed it begining yesterday.
We only get the three broadcast channels by antenna, and they all come from Boston. Last night it seemed like every commercial break was one talking about how Pres. O has failed.
They aren't very effective or attention catching imo- rather annoying because they have no real substance other than to say, Obama failed.

(1,033 posts)But by that point, it might not matter too much. What the Obama campaign is doing right now is brilliant. They're taking away everything Romney has been running on, making him look weak, and setting the stage for the general election. They're defining Romney now before he or his billionaire buddies can do it for him. That is vitally important to do in the Citizens United era.
