(3,967 posts)1. how is her caucus ground game this time?
polling numbers have to translate to delegates in order to win a nomination
SonderWoman
(1,169 posts)2. Not sure, but I heard she's spending a lot on ground game.
Especially in Iowa. Not too sure about NC and SC.

SonderWoman
(1,169 posts)5. Duh. Good point.
I'm at work with that "2:30" feeling. Might be time for more iced coffee.

(2,510 posts)4. The dates may still be changed...
http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2016/us/elections/primary-calendar-and-results.html?_r=0
South Carolina and Nevada are after New Hampshire, but the dates are unclear from this.
North Carolina seems to have changed their date to three days after South Carolina-- that's new, it used to be in May.
That would also seem to be in violation of Democratic party rules which require all states but the first four to be scheduled for March or later....
Hope we don't see another Michigan-Florida type situation like in 2008...

(6,437 posts)11. This poll is not an informal poll of people attending a state fair
Obviously it doesn't reflect what real people really want.
I think I am doing this right.

(1,169 posts)12. This one is much more science-y.

(24,689 posts)15. This is not good news for Bernie.
You would think Charlotte could be fertile Bernie territory. But I guess not nearly enough to make a difference.
dsc
(52,152 posts)18. actually I see no reason Charlotte would be fertile territory for him
His best places here would be in the triangle (Durham, Chapel Hill, and parts of Raleigh).

dsc
(52,152 posts)17. It is SC which is third and SC is a primary
NC last time had its primary in May. This time our primary will be in March.
