I expected much more squawking and yammering from the usual suspects. I think they're holding back for a couple reasons. First, they can't be sure the American public is behind them the way they used to be when we reflexively vomited every time somebody shook hands with Castro. Second, they have used the "engagement is better" argument to support being BFF with every tin pot dictator in the world. Third, they're just plain confused because the world isn't black and white, as Reagan said it was.
