2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumAs a question of fairness:
Do you think that Obama will make a push for
HRC during the primaries?
I don't trust him to be fair about this, since he interfered
in one of the senatorial races in my state before.
And what would be there reaction if he does interfere?
Inquisitive minds want to know.

(63,645 posts)1. I doubt it.
There is no good reason for him to get involved in the primary.
But he will do everything he can to support the eventual nominee in the general election.

(23,156 posts)3. I really doubt it.
He's far too shrewd a politician to do anything like that.
And what do you mean by
he interfered in one of the senatorial races in my state before.
More to the point, I don't recall sitting or even former Presidents endorsing candidates in the primary season.

(56,582 posts)5. That would really surprise me
And it would be contrary to every precedent of the modern party system.

of anyone.
