Union shirts at Bernie's Council Bluffs, IA rally last night

The Council Bluffs Labor Council had reserved seats.

Shirts I saw not in the Labor Council were IWW (Wobblies), CWA, Teamsters, USW, IBEW, green AFSCME, Laborers, SEIU, UAW, Grain Millers (Kellogg's has talked about closing the Omaha plant) and my bright yellow AFSCME.

As large as the crowd was, I'm sure I missed many others.

Good to know. I hope the unions do endorse him. I think they need to do it early and not sabrina 1 Jul 2015 #2

Labor really needs to get behind a candidate who will support them. If leadership tells them to stand down, they should refuse. We need workers to come together now.

wait to find out who the nominee is. THEY need to pick the winner this time, letting the party leadership do it hasn't worked out too well for unions in general.
