I think Bibi broke it.

To get re-elected he came to this country and subverted US Executive policy. The RWNJs In the US (aka Republicans) and the RWNJs ( aka Lkud) may have li,ed it, but Bibi has lost a US bipartisan consensus to get re-elected. Good for him. Bad for Israel. But that is what RWNJs do....gamble the future of the greater good, to make short term political gains today. Bibi may have won, but the world believes the state has lost a whole lot more.

they lost my support.

I would support the funding of the move of all interested to Utah.

Our support for Israel has cost trillions. It is just not worth it.

I think it's actually the other way around. If that is indeed what ends up happening, bibi's political career is fucked. he may win this one but eventually he's going to end up hiding in the tub, painting his own feat.

In the other hand, reflexive, complete support from the Us in all things has actually been BAD for Israel, if you're thinking long-term. Insulating israel from its own mistakes has created a weird sort of impunity that leads Israel to taking even more risks, making bigger mistakes that will eventually catch up to it. it doesn't need to be reasonable, diplomatic, or conscientious so long as it has a superpower at its bck.

He did what any republican does here, and they get away with it time and time and time again.

They play the game, they tell people what they want to hear and use fear and division to get what they want.

People are people. WE might have some high minded idea of how people think, but in the end people are voting stupid more often than not.

You know, where companies only focus on this quarter's profits to insure obscenely large bonuses for managers. The future of the company be damned.
