I will mean that the last free election held in the United States was held in 2008. Nice while it lasted.

But I still don't see a Romney victory, or a Republican Senate. My the Force keep me correct on both counts.

I plan on moving south to retire. Far south.

I'm not going to be like those who didn't leave Nazi Germany while they had the chance. By the time they close the borders and Limbaugh's brown shirts are rounding up liberals I'll be gone.

where most of the US was wiped out by killer flu, and the remaining populace were summoned by a good soul or an evil soul to battle it out.

Don't need to explain further.

Are so many people that dumb, self-centered or "evil"? I don't know because I don't associate with them. But they're there in large numbers.

They'll definitely keep the House under those circumstances as well. Let's make damned sure NOT to let THAT happen!

Remember: Elections have consequences, people, 2010 being the most recent cautionary tale!

In 2016, he'd be re-elected due to a huge financial advantage and the ability to blame Obama.

By 2020, they'll tout an economic upturn - one which looks okay on paper but only benefits the extremely wealthy - and warn against letting another 'socialist' take the reins. By this time, Obama will be a distant enough memory and the propaganda do heavy that the majority will blame him for ALL of Bush's economic strife. Big business will be loving this and continue to fund the GOP massively thanks to CIT-U.

2024, people may be getting tired of them, but they'll still have a huge funding advantage and more propaganda than ever before, for so many will have grown up with them.

Unless Obama is the man to oversee the recovery over the next four years and continue to - slowly - reverse the GOP course, you're looking at a long, long time under Romney & co. I wouldn't even be surprised if it's 20-24 years unbroken.

There are a lot of people with a lot of money who'd greet that lack of regulation and unprecedented tax cutting with such delight, that they'd be happy to spend billions ensuring it remains in place for as long as possible.

Lose this year, and Joe Manchin will be parlayed into a socialist commie, such is the right turn the Democratic Party will have to undergo in order to remain competitive going forward.
