Spineless Scott Walker's flip-flops, lies, and cowardice
A good commentary written by Spencer Black, who knows Scott Walker well having served in the Wisconsin Assembly for 26 years, including the 9 years Walker was in the Assembly. It's good to see those who can speak with authority telling it like it is about Wisconsin's most famous con man, Scott Walker. This piece shoots down one of Walker's central image themes that too many unsuspecting voters are believing: that Walker is a man who tells everyone what he's going to do, and then he does it.
Spencer Black: Spineless Scott didn't have the backbone to tell voters the truth
...Walker's greatest display of spinelessness has come now that his re-election is past. Walker is flip-flopping on so many issues it's hard to tell whether he was for it before he was against it or whether he was against it before he was for it. Saying one thing in October and then doing the opposite is not just deceptive, it's cowardly. He did not have the backbone to look voters in the eye and tell them he would sign union-busting legislation, try to ban abortions, flip-flop on immigrant citizenship, eliminate Stewardship, slash the university, etc., etc.
Before the election, Walker said in a television ad that he signed abortion legislation that "leaves the final decision to a woman and her doctor." Now, to appeal to right-wing Republican voters, Spineless Scott is pushing for a ban on many abortions.
Before the election, Walker said, I dont have any interest in doing anything to private unions." But now that the election is over, Spineless Scott has not only signed legislation to cripple private sector unions but boasted about pushing it.
Before the election, Walker said that a plan to allow illegal immigrants to become citizens makes sense. Now, Spineless Scott is attacking the very plan he had supported...
He has also fabricated or grossly exaggerated threats to him or his family. Twice recently, Walker has been caught lying about such threats...
