Did Elizabeth Warren really campaign

For Natalie Tennant?
We seriously don't need more supposed democratic polls to defend big oil and coal. Politicians in West Virginia need to start telling the truth about Coal.
We have to stop allowing people like Tennant to pretend Climate Change doesn't exist. We don't need less regulation we need much more.

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) went to bat for a fellow Democrat's underdog Senate campaign here Monday, railing against Rep. Shelley Moore Capito's (R-W.Va.) financial industry connections. The historic Shepherdstown, chartered in 1762, played host to Warren's upbeat rally in support of West Virginia Secretary of State Natalie Tennant.

Tennant and Capito are vying to succeed the retiring Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D-W.Va.) in a race that will produce the Mountain State's first-ever female senator. Warren, who has campaigned this cycle for Senate candidates across the Democratic political spectrum, gave a scathing criticism of Capito's record on financial issues.

You can't always get what you want but sometimes you can get what you need. The worse dem is better than the best puke.

Purity purges if carried out to the full will lead to just one person left. That's because no 2 people think exactly alike.

Who there is NOT going to defend coal, big or not?
And the possibility of retaining a Dem seat at this point is critically important.

A nutcase Republican, a flawed Democrat who will nevertheless contribute to a Democratic majority, and a(n as yet unidentified) pure-as-the-driven snow Democrat who is right on all the issues but has no chance of being elected. Whom do you support?

For Liz, the choice is clear. Maybe she wants to ensure she has a Democratic majority (even an imperfect one) when she takes office on Jan 20, 2017.

All saying but if we continue to do what we always do we're going to get what we always got. I guess we don't really care about change after all.
I'm terribly worried about climate change, I don't see enough polls in Congress doing a damn thing about it. Do people not understand we are permanently damaging the planet that will change the way we live. It's already costing billions.
On Edit:
This is about Tennent, I would vote for Warren in a heartbeat.

West Virginia may lose a Dem Senator this cycle, helping to put the balance of power into the hands of the Republicans.

That's a very dangerous change. What chance will there be for any productive change in US energy policy if the Republicans flip the Senate?

I'm glad Warren knows the difference between one kind of change and another. If you respect her and support her, you might want to consider that she knows what she's doing.

Natalie Tennant knows this, and she knows West Virginians rely on the coal industry to survive. We as Americans also need coal for affordable energy. What needs to be focused on here is how to extract coal in a environmental friendly way.

The DOE and private corporations started the Clean Coal Technology Program in 1985. Since the program started nearly 30 years ago sulfur has been all but eliminated from escaping into the atmosphere. We're left with a clean smoke mostly made up of CO2 that is released from stacks upwards of 1,000ft tall. So not only has the Clean Coal Technology Program removed the threat of acid rain, it also provides plants and trees with nourishment.

B) even if Tennant doesn't have a lot of chance in WV, getting Tennant within sparring distance means repukes have to spend money there, which takes it away from other states.

And oh yeah, the pragmatism thing. I know that may be a disappointment for some of Warren's followers, but it's a relief to lots of us.

Because if Tenant somehow does get elected, she will NOT be filibustering Obama's nominees. On the other hand, if control of the Senate goes to the repukes .... not one single remotely decent nomination will get through at all. Filibusters won't even be needed because they just won't be brought to the floor. Isn't it bad enough already?

Surely you get that?

This is how. Plus it diverts money to the republican candidate from other places. And if she wins Warren has an ally to work with in the senate.
