In TIME's Joe Klein story about Hillary - and I always take everything he says with a grain of salt - he has this:
And former Virginia Senator Jim Webbwho also has a new book out, aha!has not ruled out a presidential campaign.

I recently asked Webb what he saw when he looked at America a year after he left the Senate. Groundhog Day, he said. Nothing had changed. In his book I Heard My Country Calling, Webb writes about a country governed by a club of insiders who manipulate public opinion in order to serve the interests of hidden elites who hold the reins of power. That could be a call to arms for Democratic populists and Tea Partyers alike. It is a bit over the tophidden elites?but it is a voice to be reckoned with in a ticked-off America.

(The magazine also has a major expose about Schweitzer. Seems that everyone wants to be on site, if and when he enters the race).

(20,176 posts)No to Webb. If I wanted to vote for a stealth Republican, I'd be an enthusiastic Hillary Clinton supporter...but I don't want to vote for a stealth Republican. That is why Clinton, Webb and even Schweitzer can bugger off.
Where are the progressives, dammit?
