In the final day of this forum I would like to repost my 4000th post (from May 4th of last year).

There is a lot of backbiting between the Clinton and Sanders people. So I thought I would put something up that promotes party unity. And I realized that my 4000th post tried to do that.

~snip~

This is my 4000th post. And I would like to use it to say how proud I am to be a Democrat.

We are the good guys. Whatever our internal fights are, let's not forget that we are the ones fighting to improve America. And we are the ones fighting to stop the GOP from destroying this country....and the world.

I am proud to be a member of the same party as Bill Clinton, Al Gore, Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren.

And I am proud to be a member of the Democratic Underground!!

The hope is we can be proud and we can remember how a two party system works.

It works like this, vote 3rd party and you give power to the enemy, and yes at this point the GOP is an enemy of the human race.

1992 Election Results:

Clinton 44,909,806 equals 43.01 per cent

Bush 39,104,550 equals 37.45 per cent

Perot 19,743,821 equals 18.91 per cent

Odds are if we say that we can only have two parties to chose from, Bush wins the 1992 election. In this example it worked out well for us.
