The President talks of concern, talks of Russian interference as being unacceptable, but there is no attempt to connect the dots, so to speak.

And the media is far too busy speculating on who will be the FLOTUS, and who will perform at the coronation, and reporting on the latest school murders.

And if the President or the media did focus on this election interference, would they also talk about the numerous times that the US interfered in foreign elections or fomented a coup against an elected leader?

on the comforting and foundational fiction of free and fair US elections.

US politicians and the US media will talk about rigged elections, but only in the context of foreign countries.

They are concerned only with the appearance of fairness. Or they cannot think about the alternative.

what I have read in other sources about GOP gerrymandering, voter suppression, voting roll scrubbing absolutely happens. It happened in Florida in 2000, in Ohio in 2004, and in numerous states this year.

But politicians and the corporate media simply will not focus on this issue.

So let's put on our Liberty Caps and take action!

Vive la Révolution

Allons enfants de la Patrie,
Le jour de gloire est arrivé!
Contre nous de la tyrannie,
L'étendard sanglant est levé, (bis)
Entendez-vous dans les campagnes
Mugir ces féroces soldats?
Ils viennent jusque dans vos bras
Égorger vos fils, vos compagnes!

Aux armes, citoyens,
Formez vos bataillons,
Marchons, marchons!
Qu'un sang impur
Abreuve nos sillons!

What could go wrong?

the Constitutional precedents regarding prosecutions for treason or are ignoring them. That's harsh, but it's true.

You know who wasn't charged with treason?

The Rosenbergs, who (rightfully or wrongly) were charged with and convicted of selling atomic secrets to the Soviets at a time when they were considered a greater threat to the US than Russia is now.

Also not charged with treason? Aldrich Ames and Robert Hanssen, convicted of spying for the Soviets and turning over to them intelligence data that compromised and, in some instances, led to the death of American assets.

More recently -- Edward Snowden and Chelsea Manning -- not charged with treason after unlawfully handing over to wikileaks classified information, acts deemed to be injurious to US efforts in the "war" on terror.

Treason has been and is limited to two situations: Levying war. And providing "aid and comfort" to those levying war. Levying war has been understood to mean an active shooting war -- and we don't have that. There is no doubt that Trump benefitted from and probably directly or through agents encouraged the hacking and/or dissemination of the hacked information through wikileaks. And hopefully after a full investigation prosecutions for various crimes will be initiated. But they won't be for treason.

With Putin having orchestrated a full-blown attempt to sway this election, and Russians having hacked not only the DNC, but voter databases, and voting machine manufacturers - the Russians (who have admitted to being in contact with the Trump camp throughout) would be the prime suspects in hacking in state vote counts that were definitely altered by someone.

The unadjusted exit polls bear this out: By probabilities, it is an election that would take another 52,000 years to occur again!! (akin to flipping a coin 26 times and getting heads 24 times!)

Snip from the Baiman report:

In this case, in 24 out of the 26 states where UEP data was publicized, the Trump VC margin exceeded the Trump UEP margin.
If 2016 UEP were random as it should be for unbiased exit polls, the chance of “red shift” for every state would be 50% or 0.5. The odds of negative red shift in 24 out of 26 such state UEP results would then be 1 in 13,110, or the odds of getting 24 heads in 26 coin tosses, as shown in cell 5J.

Though taboo for the mainstream media to touch at this point, I believe this story will be fully revealed before too long - in large measure because Trump chose to publicly humiliate the CIA.

less than 1 in 13000 elections (52000 years). It is give mathematically by
the binomial coefficient (28!/24!*4!)divided by 2 to the 28th power for those that are curious.
Or if you restrict the problem to just 15 'swing' states (Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Maine, Michigan,Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, virginia, and Wisconsin), Trump went 15 for 15! Chance of that is 1 in 2 to the 15th power or 8196 elections (once in ~33000 years). It is noteworthy that the sample sizes for the exit polls were about 4000 in both Florida and North Carolina. Yet the poll was off by about 4.5 points in NC and over 2.5 points in Florida. In Ohio and Maine the swing was over 8 points toward Trump (massive). In Missouri, over 10 points.

2 to the power of 15 is 32,768. So that equates to one occurrence about every 130,000+ years (or about as long as homo sapiens has been around--I think).

any indication of collusion with the Russians needs to be called treason. Unfortunately the lame stream media doesn't have the guts to say it so blatantly.
