Nobody will accept someone they didn't vote for even if you can convince republicans to embrace another guy. That'd be more apt to result in civil unrest than Clinton getting the college win would.

for national security reasons and for winning the popular vote. These GOP electors are too stupidly partisan to ever do it.

Sorry, but a Kasich or Romney isn't going to please ANYBODY out in the real world. People, especially the Trump voters, will be FURIOUS.
