Is anyone else waiting for the other shoe to drop?

Terrible feeling of foreboding, like any minute now I'm going to turn on the TV or the computer and something terrible is going to be happening. Is it because of the election? Plus, my usual vivid and interesting dreams are becoming horrible nightmares, at least the ones I remember.

I think it's because after the last election that was eerily similar 9/11 happened. Anyway that is what I am attributing it to, lol!

that will be dropping on a regular basis. Enough shoes to overwhelm Imelda Marcos. I hope we don't become numb to this crazy shit; otherwise nobody will even try to stop it.

A feeling of foreboding is perfectly warranted and appropriate, particularly with regard to appointments to the Federal judiciary.

When the next event like San Bernardino or Orlando happens, I think it's pretty much guaranteed that rather than calming the public and efficiently investigating like Obama did, Trump will seriously fan the flames. That's when I think his increased surveillance/detentions will likely start.

As troubled as I am by the right wing judicial appointments, gutting of the EPA, deficits that are so large after giant tax cuts that government programs and fiscal stimulus will be difficult in the future, my biggest fear is that Trump will corrupt the surveillance power of the state to use against his opponents, unconstitutionally enhance his power, and make the path he's taking us down hard to undo. If Putin used Russian intelligence to put Trump in power, why would that stop once he's in office.

this is the republican party final stand. trump is just a blip on the screen and if democratic officials will get their heads out of their asses we will recover from this.

If the planet exists in 4 years ill be pleasantly surprised. I've decided to continue fighting the good fight, while at the same time just now enjoying life as much as possible knowing that things might go very, very wrong in the near future.
