A BLACK OUT for the Inaguration?

There's an idea floating around the internet - I like it and I am doing my part to spread the news. Let's do what we can - here's the gist:

No posts, meme's, tweets, comments, outrage on the day of the inauguration. A long shot -- if we could get the mainstream media to black out the whole event that would be even better. (That's what they should've done with him in the first place)
Trump lives for and thrives lives on attention. On inauguration day, DON'T GIVE IT TO HIM.

Let's make that day UNMEMORABLE

is if there were no spectators at the inauguration day parade. Nobody at all. Just empty sidewalks; nobody at all to watch the military parade and the flags and ceremony and the Trump family sashaying down the street.

That won't happen but I sure like the idea - much more than protestors. The best protest would be nobody shows up.

I am never gonna watch him anyway.

I think it would be fantastic if nobody shows up to his swearing in, supporters or protesters, either one. And I would love it if the teevee ratings for that day showed up at just above zero.

It would be a perfect tribute.

i expect the inauguration protest will be huge. IIRC gw's was, one of the biggest ever, and hardly anyone even knows it because the media did not report. sigh

is to inform the public of all news worthy information, and just because we don't like the candidate. What we can do is tune it out ourselves. Watch something else on TV. If you can't find anything interesting, turn the TV off and go to the net. There are thousands of movies FREE to watch. If you can't find any movies that interest you, DU will be here! At least the # of viewers will be down, and that would send a message to the networks AND the Con, except HE won't understand it or pay any attention.
