Sanders camp defends Clinton, criticizes Politico's misleading basement dwellers story

But aides to Sanders dismissed the controversy, and criticized Politico's "mocking" phrase — which the site quietly changed. Mike Casca, Sanders's deputy communications director in the Senate, spent some of Friday night arguing that Clinton was being empathetic, not dismissive.

H's full quote was very sympathetic to millennials, even going so far to warn her supporters not to 'throw a wet blanket' on their idealism.

And considering her comments came (a) behind closed doors (b) after she took a beating in the NH primaries - that tells you what kind of person Hillary is.
