I can only read a few articles a month without subscribing...and it's very expensive.

I only read an article now and then, and Firefox clears all cookies when I exit.

signing up to receive one email from them a day with suggested articles. They all go into a special mailbox I created which I empty once a week without reading them.

The email contains the top story headlines. When I click on a story, it opens up to the Times page and it may or may not let me read the article depending on how many articles I've read that month. I think the limit is 10. Is this what you have? Thank you so much for the help!

Maybe I just haven't been reading more than 10 a month. I subscribe to the Post, so I don't need to go to the NYT except when an article is recommended by a friend.

Trump is an embarrassment to himself, an embarrassment to his party, and an embarrassment to the nation. There is no Broderism on this either. He is no run-of-the-mill bad political candidate. We have never had such a thoroughly unworthy presidential candidate in the history of the republic. Literally.

The unwillingness of the mainstream GOP to repudiate him says a great deal about the GOP, none of it good. People like McCain, Ryan, and McConnell know he is a dangerous lunatic. Their deference is a profile in cowardice.

Couldn't have said it better.

It's a bit hard to keep up these days, I completely get it! So much info flowing out of multiple sources every time idiot boy opens his mouth and says yet another stupid thing.

In fact I'm thinking that Trump supporters must not check any MSM, sticking only to whatever primitive news sources back that idiot.

In the email letter I wrote him yesterday. I also added that his party had betrayed him and all veterans with their silence after The Dumpster's comments about McCain's service.

"Just when it seems that Donald Trump could not display more ignorance and bad judgment or less of a moral compass, he comes up with another ignominy or two. This weekend he denigrated the parents of a fallen American military hero and suggested that if elected he might recognize Russia’s claims to Ukraine and end sanctions.

Mr. Trump’s divisive views helped him capture the Republican presidential nomination. And even as he creates a political whirlwind with each utterance, leading members of his own party haven’t the spine to rescind their support. Sure, some have come out with strong criticisms, but none have gone far enough. Repudiation of his candidacy is the only principled response.

and

Some Republicans, like the House speaker, Paul Ryan; the Senate majority leader, Mitch McConnell; and Senator Kelly Ayotte of New Hampshire released statements defending the Khans. Yet they still refuse to back off their support for Mr. Trump. Few carry as much weight on military matters as Senator John McCain of Arizona, himself a decorated hero of the Vietnam War, who issued a statement Monday sharply criticizing Mr. Trump, saying, 'It is time for Donald Trump to set the example for our country and the future of the Republican Party.'

It’s hard to imagine, a year into the campaign, that Mr. Trump could ever set such an example. The truth is, it’s time for Mr. McCain and other Republican leaders to set an example for their party by withdrawing support for Mr. Trump."

Thus sayeth the paper of record...
