Do you honestly think dws would step down so quickly

With so little struggle, if Hillary hadn't offered her a bullshit honorary position so she could save face?

There is no specific email that actually implicates her in some giant conspiracy and she agreed to be the sacrificial lamb, but nothing in life really come for free.

Anyway some of this rhetoric is dumb af. If you want someone to go away with minimal fuss you allow them to save face.

According to one Democratic member of Congress involved in the discussions leading up to her resignation, Wasserman Schultz strongly resisted giving up her position amid discussions that staff members should shoulder some of the blame. Among the options discussed was having Amy Dacey, the DNC’s chief executive officer, put out a statement, according to two Democratic sources.

That served to exacerbate other Democrats’ frustration with Wasserman Schultz — and led to accusations that she had made the situation worse by not acting swiftly to step aside as the convention loomed.

“There was a lot of drama,” this lawmaker said, speaking on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the matter. “She made this as painful as she could. She did not want to go. .?.?. She wasn’t going to resign until the president called her. She put a lot of people through hell.

There is no need to allow her to save face.

If she had any honor in her at all, she would fall on her metaphorical sword, disappear from public view for a few years, write a confessional apology book; and then attempt a political comeback in 2018 for the mid-terms, or the 2020 presidential cycle.

Hillary offering her a role as a surrogate is suicide. Just hand Trump another distraction bullet like that? Really? WTF for? DSW is a disgraced embarrassment of at best poor judgement and at worst stupidity writ large.

Ego and "I'm gonna get what's owed to me" mentality is what I saw from her on TV this AM at the Florida delegation pre-convention meeting. Someone pull her aside and explain to her that she is doing more harm than good now and should save face another day.

They weren't waiting for something to "hold against her".

The transition was finalized 5 weeks ago.

when leadership of the party began its transition from Obama to Hillary.

The media never bothered to cover the story. Today Politico is reporting that Hillary wanted to replace DWS last winter, but Obama wanted to wait

Gee, I wonder why Hillary wanted to replace somebody who "was in the tank for her"? And before the primaries even began?

folks are all about. They are about as much hate and vitriol against Hillary as some Trump supporters...who seem to be filling the event.

I don't hold grudges but I am beginning to think you can't even reason with these people and that they are not really working for our common good. No amount of concession will ever be enough.

Shout out to all the Bernie supporters who are now on-board to defeat Trump. Thanks for all your hard work and your rational behavior.

Shout out to all my fellow Hillary supporters: Embrace the people who come to our side to work with us to defeat the GOP. As for the others...don't give them another thought.
