His supporters are primarily white; and I've too often heard whites refer to themselves as "the working people" as though the rest of us don't.

Rubs all my fur backwards.

Still waiting for him to talk about something other than himself, his campaign, his campaign speech. Still waiting for him to talk about our nominee and our Democratic ticket. He sounds like he thinks he is the nominee right now.

Which is that it looks like Hillary is going to be booed from the minute she walks on the stage until the minute she is hounded off. There is just no good f*cking way to spin this. The rest of the country will see a Democratic party that HATES their nominee. We could lose this election.

I didn't think that until today.

Jul 2016

But that's the attitude destroying the party. I fear that this party won't "get it" until it's too late. And yes...I'm a REAL Democrat and will vote for Clinton. But voting for her is not what makes me a REAL Democrat. It's supporting certain ideals regardless of the candidate. It's staying true to that.

And voting for her is more about stopping Trump for me and many other Bernie supporters. Just accept that and move on. That's the best thing that can happen for this party. Just take a win. We don't have to love her.

I'd love to take a f*cking win! Unfortunately the MSM is currently showing the Democratic party as a complete and utter shit show, far worse than the RNC last week, and these selfish, selfish people could hand the election to Donald Trump. And then the WHOLE WORLD suffers. They can support their "ideals" and I'll wait to see if Putin invades the Balkan States and marches across Europe because Trump has pulled us out of NATO.

With 3-4 SC picks, a whole generation will lose their civil liberties and US politics will get more and more corrupt. The most vulnerable in our society will suffer the most under Trump. Bernie knows this. His "supporters" who are disrupting and destroying this convention have to be the most selfish people on earth.

Would I like a more progressive ticket - absolutely! Am I willing to "burn down the house" because that has not happened? No way! The consequences of a Trump WH will make all the Bernie Sander's supports complaints pale in comparison. We are in a fight for our lives over the future of this country. I would like to ask the die hard Sanders supporters - Just how do you propose to push a progressive agenda once Trump leaves this country (and perhaps the rest of the planet) in total shambles? Sometimes you just have to choose the path of pragmatism so that you still have a shot of creating change later on.

I genuinely cannot believe this. I am appalled, angry, and most of all frightened. We could lose this election. I didn't think that until today. I never thought anyone could be this selfish, to inflict Trump on the world and on the most vulnerable in society who will suffer the most.
