One good thing from all this hoopla with wiki is it shows their fear.
Anyone who watched that rally in Miami can see that it was a home run. That picking Kaine is a stellar pick and that he will be a force to be reckoned with. Like I said iny post tge other day, watching that, I knew it would shake the right.
I find it amazing that they sat on these emails since May and have just decided to drop them now, a couple days before our convention. If you ever watch basketball, when 1 team goes on a run, the other team always calls a time out. It stops the momentum, gives them a chance to recollect, and make changes.
These emails dropped AT THIS TIME is a desperate attempt to stop the momentum, divert attention, and for them to make changes to their clusterfuck of a convention. They can see that we are a force. That they needed to do something or else it really will be over for them.
And they should be worried. Their party is fracturing, they face a formidable presidencial opponent, there are a lot of states that are in play, and the supreme court is ripe for a turnover. John McCain, a behemoth in az politics, is fighting the fight of his life right now in AZ. He's not the only one. Make no mistake, they are scared as hell.
Hence, the emails...
Yes, the party favored Hillary. Why wouldn't they? Hillary has been a party heavyweight for years. She SHOULD have some weight. It just goes without say.
But was there anything DONE inappropriately? People are allowed to have personal bias. You know why? Because they are human. DWS is gone. And some people are still frothing at the mouth wanting more blood. Why???? Because it fits their agenda.
Bernie and Weaver have been really supportive. So WHY are these people so bloodthirsty? Is it realllllly about democracy as they say? Because I don't see how DWS OR DNC altered the primaries in any way.
The irony is that they SAY democracy but yet fail to discuss what damage a wedge through the democratic party can do for a trump campaign. Or that there are Russian fingerprints on our national election and the incredible ramifications of that. But, Nevermind that. Let's continue to whip up more blood, froth, indignant outrage that serves what purpose?
To be clear, I don't think this is Bernie supporters. Because 85% of Bernie supporters have pivoted and support their party. And I salute them for that.
I think what we are seeing are instigators in the name of Bernie supporters. Because Bernie himself woudn't even condone this bullshit. He knows what is at stake even if some whackjobs don't.
So, I am writing this hoping that people step out of their emotional straightjacket and see it more logically and for what it is. That this is just another RW play and we need to approach it as just that.
Democracy is NOT dead. But if Trump wins, it will be.
Democrats are not your enemy. Republicans are--especially those in disguise.
I am looking forward to the convention. We have a stellar list of Rockstars who are united in supporting our candidate. I have no doubt the republicans wish they had this. Instead, they were given crumbs at their convention.
We have an incredible platform and the reality is, we are on the precipice of something big. And they know it. Question is, do we?
