Out of 20,000 emails released, there was one in which two staffers discussed a really terrible talking point that was never implemented and another in which DWS called Jeff Weaver a a liar and an ass after he accused her of running an illegal slush fund.

Were you equally as outraged when two Sanders staffers stole data? Did you blame their boss? Did you hold Tad Devine or Jeff Weaver responsible and demand their resignations?

Of course you didn't. The two Sanders staffers who committed an actual crime (as opposed to the thought crime committed by the two DNC staffers) resigned, and we all moved on. Did you blame Sanders? Did you point to a culture of corruption and dirty tricks in his campaign? Did you want Further Steps Taken? No.

It seems to me that the agenda at this point is to wreck the convention. Why on earth would Democrats want to do such a thing?

The two DNC staffers who kicked around a very stupid talking point that was never implemented should be held responsible for the thought crime that they committed. And DWS shouldn't have called Jeff Weaver an ass, even though he might be one and even though it was her reaction to Weaver accusing her of a crime.

Yes, I'll admit that it was wrong to think think bad thoughts and call someone an ass.

How about loyalty to democratic principles such as fairness? Having Debbie Wasserman Schultz placed as "honorary" Clinton campaign share shows that the Clinton campaign does not understand honor.

Excuse the fuck out of me.

And yes, I do know what honorary means. Do you know what toxic means?

DWS needs to be shunned. Hillary should not have anything to do with her. And quite frankly, neither should the Democratic Party.

There’s simply no one better at taking the fight to the Republicans than Debbie,” Clinton said, “which is why I am glad that she has agreed to serve as honorary chair of my campaign’s 50-state program to gain ground and elect Democrats in every part of the country, and will continue to serve as a surrogate for my campaign nationally, in Florida, and in other key states.”

on the backburner due to their all-consuming hatred of Debbie Wasserman-Schultz and grievances over the primaries.

Those people need to grow the fuck up and realize the primary is over and the real task at hand is not banishing Debbie Wasserman-Schultz from public life.

Mon Jul 25, 2016, 10:54 AM

Perhaps, maybe the DNC should do weekly briefings on its bylaws with its staff, so they'll be smarter about the e-mails that their staff sends, so as to ensure that they won't break its bylaws.

Yes. Putin and Assange are assholes, but if those e-mails didn't exist, there would be no dust up over them.

the right thing. And she may be right. But the stakes are too high for personal loyalty and acts of kindness. If they mess this up, we end up with Trump.

The Clintons can pay her back for her loyalty in other ways. Get her consulting gigs. Get her on corporate boards. Get her kids into Harvard. But she needs to disappear from the campaign and the DNC.
