This morning on MSNBC they reported that Trump was scaling back on the plans for the

Entertainment for the RNC Convention next week. He had previously stated that the Convention was going to be 'different' from past RNC Conventions and was going to include 'lots of entertainment', and it was going to be UUUUGGGEEE. When this was first mentioned, someone said "probably a lot of "B" and "C" List talent. (I think it was Lawrence O'Donnell who said it.) Now it appears that there will be "NO" entertainment to go with the "NO" Speakers. This morning they announced on MSNBC (Morning Joe I think) that Trump now says that he didn't want to reduce the dignity associated with the RNC Convention by bringing in a lot of entertainment. Which translates as: "he couldn't find any entertainment". BTW, Mr. Trump. Where is that list of speakers for the Convention, Mr. Trump? You know the one you promised a week ago. You know the list that was full, and people were lining up to be part of. At least we know who the confirmed speakers for the Convention are: There's Melania, the Trump Children, Ted Cruz, his VP selection (TBD) and uhm......uhm.....

I guess we're going to see lots of Trump pulling out his notes from his pocket next week, (ad libbing) to fill all that empty time space.

My guess is, "If you can't manage a convention, that you've known the date of for a year now, You probably cannot manage the Federal Government, because it's UUUUUGGGGGGEEEE

complete with actual circus performers and magic tricks.

Possibly mixed with a swimsuit competition from current Miss America (or is it Miss USA) contestants.

. . .

MONDAY, JULY 18

1 p.m. Convention opens. The lineup of speakers and votes for this session -- and the following days' programs -- will be released soon, organizers say. Arkansas Sen. Tom Cotton is expected to speak to delegates Monday night, his office says. He said he'll talk about the military and veterans.

TUESDAY, JULY 19

5:30 p.m. Tuesday session begins. Generally the roll call of states, in which Trump's name would officially be placed into nomination, is held during this session. Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson said he expects to speak at the convention Tuesday night.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 20

7 p.m. Wednesday session begins. The vice presidential nominee generally speaks on Wednesday night. Rumored vice presidential candidates include Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin.

THURSDAY, JULY 21

7:30 p.m. Thursday session begins. Usually the nominee closes out the convention, so you can expect Donald Trump to speak on this night. Confirmed speakers throughout the week include Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, who is a delegate; Trump's vanquished primary rival Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas; and House Speaker Paul Ryan of Wisconsin, who will discuss the House Republican agenda and party unity. Trump has said his children -- sons Eric and Donald Jr., daughter Ivanka and wife, Melania -- will speak as well. In addition, those expected to speak include Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, Iowa Sen. Joni Ernst, Tennessee Rep. Marsha Blackburn and Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette.
