2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumSix of the top ten threads right now are about Bernie. He's not RUNNING!
I feel the same as I did before. If you're a Hillary supporter you get squeezed into a tiny corner even as she IS the nominee.
Bernie supporters are going to do what they do. Fine. But the rest of us could stand to come out stronger for our candidate.

(1,674 posts)not counting Bernies indy dominence, his appeal among the majority of people. No one except a very few Clinton supporters hate Bernie., many of those are women who think the gender of the nominee is important. I wish I could say Hillary is popular, but all she has is dems, and less each time there is a scandal, or at this point, just more doubt.
It does not matter in regards to the primary. Bernie voters have moved on to downticket, but Hillary followers wont let him go. He is not the enemy- Trump is

(2,542 posts)what's to stop them from throwing a handful of bucks at DU for Star Membership so they can run the jury pool?

(23,636 posts)I'm sure that there are some who are both Clinton supporters and Sanders supporters. Of those who voted for either Clinton or Sanders, about 57% voted for Clinton and about 43% voted for Sanders. I imagine that among those, there are many who have favorable views of both individuals.

HRC is the Nominee!! We are in general mode and our nominee is fighting for DEMS to be President! That was the reason I voted for HER! Take HER all the way to the White House!

(1,735 posts)on DU, I very rarely alerted anything. In last two weeks, I've sent 8 or 9. The Berniers keep trying to slip in their agenda to diss Hillary whenever possible. Give it up folks

(50,334 posts)and not trashed Hillary. The same cannot be said for Hillary supporters re Bernie. They won't be happy until he's drawn and quartered and dumped into Lake Champlain as Champ food.

(17,469 posts)the audacity of failing to comply with their view of how he should campaign.
The nerve of him.
Seems to me that people who continue to be annoyed by this would be better served talking about the total ass-whipping HRC is giving Trump in front of one of his failed casinos, rather than continuing to rage about Sanders.

(1,674 posts)Best give up and start joining Hill in bashing Trump. Bernie is never going to kiss Hillary's feet, and I would be shocked if he endorses her. Why does it matter?

(7,960 posts)The thought police are out in force. I'm not sure how bashing a candidate I admire is supposed to get me to become an enthusiastic Clinton supporter but some of these folks clearly have either no clue another agenda entirely.

(42,007 posts)It was a throwaway complaint but it stands. Being snowballed by Bernie threads and responders makes me think we Hillary folk are not doing a good enough job. Or, as in real life, that we'll express ourselves at the voting booth. And everyone had better hope we do.
